KOLURA

Art that raises the frequency

A conscious fine-art house in Miami.

The house

KOLURA is the house behind the work of contemporary artist Elsa Basil. It presents, produces, and protects her work: original paintings, illustration, art experiences, editions to come. The house carries the business so the studio can carry the art.

Conscious art

Conscious art is work made with intention: beauty that speaks to emotion and raises the frequency of a space and of the people in it. Not art for the sake of art; art in service of feeling, of presence, of a fuller life. It takes more forms than painting. A canvas, an illustrated book, a gathering of sound and color: different doors into the same intention.

The name comes from coluro, the celestial circles that mark the equinoxes and the solstices. A circle that does not fully close. The opening is where the light enters. Color and aura, the visible and the invisible, carried together.
